What keyword is or what its importance is or what role it plays in search engine optimization is focused on in my previous blog. Quality content is the numero uno when it is used as a magic wand to fetch traffic from search engines. It is not necessary, if a webpage or blog content is written well, it retains quality. Proper placement of keywords is one of the measures of quality content. Using keywords at proper places in a page is as important as selecting substantial keywords.

The tile of a webpage is the first to be crawled by search engine bots. Make sure to optimize the title tags with keywords in relevance to the content. Titles that begin with keywords are in notice of the search engine robots. Like every reader, search engines trace webpage content from top to bottom. The first paragraph is the introductory part of the content. So, the first paragraph should not be beyond optimization with keywords.

The end paragraph of a page is not only the conclusion but also climax of the content. Therefore, the concluding part is of as much importance as the introductory one. Pages with keywords in the last paragraph are easily crawlable for search engines. The content split into a few paragraphs with subtitles is better than the flat content. Using keywords in the subtitles of a page is a winning method of content optimization.

Optimize image alt tags with keywords bearing the essence of the images and the relevance of the content in web pages. It is extremely useful for your purpose that is to draw traffic from search engines to your website because search engine bots understand nothing but words and links. Links are no less important than keywords in search engine optimization. Blend internal links with keywords to make your website friendly with search engines. Meta descriptions in search result pages are of the essence in generating traffic for your website. Pepper meta descriptions with keywords.

Some labor under the notion that using more keywords in a page means getting more traffic. It is only the moderate and deliberate use of keywords that positively influences the search engine ranking of websites. Keep in mind, search engine crawlers turn back on the content stuffed with keywords.
